CompareAbout the Samsung QN98QN90D
A rich, bright picture
Contrast is a key component in picture quality, and Mini LED TVs are much better at it than TVs with traditional LED backlights. Samsung’s QN90D pairs the ultra-precise light control of its Mini LED backlight with vibrant quantum dot color. My colleague has last year’s version of this TV, and he has been raving about how well it performs in his bright living room.
Stream movies, shows, and games
I was a bit surprised by my colleague’s most-praised feature about this series. He loves Samsung’s Gaming Hub for easy, console-free gaming with a compatible controller.
The QN90D also has Samsung’s Tizen OS — a user-friendly interface with access to a ton of streaming services, apps, and smart home integrations. As a cord-cutter who pays for eight different streaming services, I really appreciate that Samsung offers tons of free shows and movies on the included Samsung TV Plus.
